The Gods of Russian Indie are back to Toronto!
Founded in 1994, TEQUILAJAZZZ has won multiple international awards, shared stage with Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth and Faith No More and also played as a special guest at the Big Eight Summit. Coming from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, this legendary band is indeed the first name that comes to mind when one mentions Russian alternative music. The band's style combines complex, almost industial instrumental arangements with elements of softer jazz-rock and even bossa-nova. Tequilajazzz presents their new album "The journal of the living" along with older hits. Lyrics played in Russian.
