VLADIMIR SPIVAKOV and the MOSCOW VIRTUOSI RETURN!
Show One presents the much-anticipated return of the legendary Russian 30-piece chamber orchestra Moscow Virtuosi and its famed conductor and violin soloist, Vladimir Spivakov.
This performance will feature piano virtuoso Alexander Gindin – winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition, and the youngest winner ever in the Tchaikovsky Competition tracing his musical lineage directly back to Franz Liszt.
Program will include Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 9, as well as Boccherini’s “Casa del Diabolo”, Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony Op.110, and Schnittke’s haunting Sonata for violin, chamber orchestra and harpsichord with Maestro Spivakov playing solo on violin.
