“Svetlana Dvoretskaia…is one of the independent impresarios stepping into the void still left by Livent.” – WholeNote Magazine.

“ It seems we’ve got a new cultural icon in the making and Canadian audiences are already lining up at the box office” - Lifestyles Magazine
Show One Productions Inc. was founded in 2004 by Toronto-based producer and director Svetlana Dvoretskaia. Together with Russian born businessman Alex Shnaider, she is also president and co-director of Show One Entertainment Inc.
Our goal is to build a full promotion and production house, to reach far and wide, beyond the boundaries of our home base Toronto, en route to international success.
The daughter of the famous Russian pianist Annetta Maizel, and Dr. Michael Dvoretsky, Ms. Dvoretskaia was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. She is a music school graduate and holds a Masters Degree in Business and Theatre Management from the Academy of Culture in St. Petersburg.
While Ms. Dvoretskaia could have chosen a career as a professional musician, her extensive exposure to a wide range of artists and musicians at a young age influenced her to become an impresario.
After her immigration to Canada in 1998, Ms. Dvoretskaia worked in business development and did volunteer work. She also collaborated with some of the greatest documentary film production companies.
Despite work in other areas, Dvoretskaia’s desire to be a concert producer remained constant and with that in mind, she organized her first concert in Toronto in 2003. The event, Vladimir Spivakov and Moscow Virtuosi, was a huge success, and Ms. Dvoretskaia’s enterprise took off from there.
